The Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. Key responsibilities include:
**Tax Compliance & Filing:** Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns; ensure timely submission to government agencies; maintain a tax compliance calendar.
**Tax Reporting & Reconciliation:** Prepare tax schedules, working papers, and supporting documents; reconcile VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and other taxes; assist in preparing tax provisions and management reports.
**Audit & Documentation:** Support internal and external tax audits; maintain complete tax records; coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government representatives; respond to tax-related inquiries.
**Advisory & Process Improvement:** Provide guidance to internal teams on tax matters; monitor regulatory changes; recommend process improvements; assist in tax planning and risk management.
**Qualifications:** Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred; 2–3 years of experience in tax accounting or compliance; strong knowledge of tax laws and accounting standards; experience with ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
